Are you struggling, frustrated and confused when it comes to playing lead guitar?
(Is there really a simple way to learn how to play a good sounding solo?)

Dear Fellow Guitarists,

I am going to try something very different here.

All the marketing experts tell me that I am supposed to hit you over the head with marketing hype if I have any hope of “selling” you a lifetime membership to Learn To Play Lead Guitar.

Well I hope those marketing experts are all wrong because I am about to break
all their rules.

You see, I figure this is a letter among friends. So I am going to treat you like a friend here - and that means I am going to leave out all the hype that those marketing folks tell me to put in.

And, No, I’m not going to start listing all these “testimonials” where I selectively list for you tons of people who think I’m amazing. I figure that you have seen the videos and lessons I have put up over the last two weeks and you can decide for yourself whether or not this is for you.

If you somehow missed the video lessons you can see them by…
clicking here.

There is a lot of information in this letter. That is because I want you to be informed so you can be sure about your decision when you order the program

Does this sound familiar to you?

Maybe you’ve learned a few scales. Perhaps a few licks by your favorite guitarist or maybe even a couple of complete solos. But when it comes time to play your own solos, your stuck like a person in a strange land that doesn’t know the language.. And this leaves you feeling frustrated, not knowing where to turn next.

I understand — I used to have the same problem.

In the late 70’s I enrolled as a jazz guitar student at Ohio State University. I had pretty good technique, knew lots of scales and could play several solos note for note by some famous jazz guitarists. I was starting to think I had it going on.

One day we had to pair up and play in front of the class. There were about 30 of us all together. And when it came time to play my own solo, I was terrified. I didn’t have a clue where to begin. Nothing that I had worked on made any sense. I left with my tail between my legs feeling totally embarrassed.

I was more determined than ever to find out what I was missing, what it really takes to play a great guitar solo. The secret to playing killer lead guitar. So what’s the secret?

The secret is to getting all the pieces of the puzzle to work
simultaneously..
.

Learning to play lead guitar is a lot like learning a new language. At first you learn to say a few phrases like “my name is” and eventually move onto to more important ones like, “where is the bathroom?” As your vocabulary expands you learn more words. But you also need to know the syntax of the language you are learning and the rules of grammar. If any one of these elements is missing you will not be able to carry on a meaningful conversation.

In most courses, you get only parts of the puzzle. You are taught a few scales, arpeggios or maybe a few finger exercises. And the reason you struggle, is because you can’t afford to have pieces of the puzzle missing. You not only need the complete pieces of the puzzle in ‘one box,’ but you also need to know how to put the puzzle together.

Of course you could do it all by yourself

But imagine you were in a minefield with live mines. And you wanted to get across without getting into trouble. Which option would you prefer?

Option 1: Get a map that gets you through the minefield.
Option 2: Get directions to walk through the minefield
Option 3: A person who knows exactly where the mines are, and leading, while you follow across the minefield to safety.

If you chose Option 3, you’re ready for a lifetime membership to Learn To Play Lead Guitar.

Introducing the Learn To Play Lead Guitar Membership Site

The Learn To Play Lead Guitar program will cover the following:

It will take you from where you are, to where you want to be. This program is your direct ticket to restructuring all of you practicing and learning. The kind of restructuring that will produce astounding jumps in your ability to learn and play lead guitar the way you want to.

Looking for the quick easy way to play lead guitar

I know that like me, you have spent time surfing the net looking at guitar programs. There are all kinds of outlandish claims out there like “master the fretboard in 7 days.” Or learn scales 300% faster. Faster than what??? And how could you even measure such a thing? Nothing could be further from the truth.

Or how about this one…”play like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hendrix, Clapton and whoever else you can think of.” I don’t even think that’s what you want. I think you really just want to experience the hours of pure joy you can get from playing the guitar. And to be able to hold your own at local “open jams” and have a good laugh while doing it.

I’ll be completely honest with you. It takes a steady focused commitment to learn the guitar and years of playing to really begin to approach any sort of mastery on the instrument.

The Learn To Play Lead Guitar Program is not for namby-pambies. If you’re scared of hard work, you need to leave this page right now. There are no short cuts on this program. However, there are efficiencies. Ways to do things better and smarter.

The Learn To Play Lead Guitar Program isn’t one-sided

Anyone can sell you a course that teaches you a few scales, maybe a couple of solos, a few other things. They can even be useful and have some great information. But they leave you to your own devices.

In the Learn To Play Lead Guitar Program I expect you to roll up your sleeves and get to work. I will be there badgering you every step of the way to make sure you get the results you want.

Some of what you will learn:

• Why knowing the major scale is really the key to unlock the language of music and give you access to everything else you need.

• How to comfortably play and use the major scale as a starting point for your solos.

• How to make simple changes to the major scale to create different scales for you to use in your solos.

• A way to look at the major scale that will turn you into a walking chord dictionary ( you will never be confused by those weird chord symbols ever again).

• How to link different fingerings of a scale together to play the entire length of the fretboard.

• The one key that makes the most difference in your ability to take a solo (mastery of this one key is essential to your playing).

• The 4 ways to easily develop a theme and variations.

• How to build a solo from start to finish to keep your listeners glued.

• The use of dynamics and their role in your solos.

• The 4 tools available to vary your phrasing and make your licks sound fresh.

• The only two ways to think about chords and how to apply this to your soloing.

• Why it’s important to learn multiple fingerings of the same scale.

• How to connect positions as a way to access higher and lower notes.

• How to connect positions as a way to build solos.

• Using different fingerings in the same position to play different keys.

• What arpeggios are and their importance in soloing.

• How to easily learn arpeggios all over the fretboard.

• How to play through changes and the importance of chord tones.

• How to blend scale tones with chord tones to give you the most choice and flexibility in your solos.

• What modes are and how they are used explained in plain English.

• What passing tones are and how to use them to really add spice to your solos.

• A powerful exercise to help you master bending, one of the staple techniques of blues and rock guitar playing.

And lots more…

I promise to reveal, in step by step detail, every cutting edge strategy that I’ve perfected to teach you lead guitar in the shortest time possible. Nothing will be held back!

Complete details of what’s included in the course:

Video

There is currently a little over three hours of video lessons that clearly demonstrate all of the important concepts you need to know to improvise. There are lessons on the blues, modes, arpeggios, technique and much more. Plus I add at least two to four new videos each month.

Access to a members only forum.

I personally think this is one of the biggest benefits of the site, but only if you use it. In the members only forum you will be able join a community of like minded people. It’s a place to make new friends and ask any questions you want.

I will be on hand to provide the best explanations I can to any problem you might be having. This ability to interact is as close as we can get to private lessons. How much value do you think you can get out of this?

Audio.

There is a growing collection of jam tracks at the site. There are also mp3 files of examples used on the site and in the book Major Scale Constellations.

Solo transcriptions and analysis.

This is a great way to learn. We will be looking at and analyzing solos from a variety of guitarists. This deconstruction of solos really gives you a lot of insight into other players minds. You can then apply this thinking process to your own soloing and really expand your own playing.

Music Theory

You could make a lifetime study of music theory, in fact some do. But, it’s not necessary to to plat lead guitar. In this section, I break things down to just the things you need to know to help you play lead guitar.

Here’s where you will learn things like:

• Which scale or scales to use when soloing

• How to determine what key you are in.

• What the harmonized scale is and why it matters.

• How to build and name chords.

• What intervals are, how to name them and identify them and there role in your solos.

And much more…

In fact, just take a look at the left sidebar and you will see all of the categories covered in the membership to date.

As time passes and this site grows I will be covering other scales like the melodic minor scale, the harmonic minor scale, odd scales like the whole tone scale and the diminished scale.

I promise to give you a total brain dump on everything I know about playing lead guitar.

What about the bonuses?

Fast Mover Bonus 1 - A teleseminar question and answer series.

Important: Due the constraints of www.freeconferencecall.com, there are only 96 lines available for this series, so this bonus is only available to the first 96 people that buy a lifetime membership.

This is something I have never tried before, but since I receive so many questions and my typing skills are definitely sub par, I thought it would be fun to get on the phone and answer your questions.

I will also record the calls and make them available as a download later on.

There will be a minimum of three teleseminars, and you will have the chance to ask any guitar related questions that you might have. I think that these calls will be a fun learning experience for everyone involved, including me!

You will learn why the solo is important to him. What he’s doing right before the solo. How he evaluates his note choices and a lot more.

As far as I know, there is nothing else like this out there on the net. This is your chance to really get inside the mind of a great guitarist and learn for yourself the soloing mindset.

Value: $20

So how much is this going to cost me?

For the next 3 days you can get a lifetime membership at 4 equal payments of $40 or $160 total. After that I will be pulling this offer. I have learned to never say never but I probably won’t be making these memberships available again. If I do it will be at a higher price so now is your chance to get in on this deal while you can.

I know that the info you will be receiving in the coming months will be worth much more than that. I have been charging $20/month for access to this site. In one years time that would be $240. If any of you take private lessons you know how much they cost. I have students that are paying me $80 per month for lessons. That’s $960 per year.

You get all of the bonuses totaling $161 that are real value courses that have been, and will be selling for the prices indicated above. Plus you get on going lessons for what I hope to be years to come (the only thing that would prevent this would be, heaven forbid, if something happens to me) at 4 equal payments of $40 or $160 total.

Here’s my guarantee!

Try it for 30 days. If you don’t think it’s worth $160, you can have your money back and keep everything, including your membership. But I am convinced that I won’t have to worry about that because you will find your membership to be worth every penny. I can’t offer a better guarantee that that.
